July 2024: Estemporanea di Pittura

Live Painting event, Prezza
Friday, 8 o’clock: I’m participating in this art event organized by Prezza. I packed all my painting supplies in my red travel suitcase and drove to Prezza – a beautiful village located in the mountains of Abruzzo. Very calm, with a lot of cats running around. My vision was to paint an interpretation of how I see Prezza (buildings, cats, etc.) and other elements that I connect with the Italian way of Dolce Vita.

At 12:30, we had a quick lunch break: pasta, tomatoes, mozzarella and watermelon. After that, each artist returned to his artwork because time was running, we only had time until 6 p.m. to finalize it. Later, a jury evaluated the artworks. I had a really enjoyable day and it was such fun to paint outside.
